The Blue Mountains Bus Company considers it our utmost responsibility, to deliver reliable, innovative and safe bus services to the public of the Blue Mountains and surrounding areas. The Company started providing safe and reliable services in 1951 and relies on this experience to move ahead into the future. The Company became incorporated in 1963. Our service moves more than 400,000 adult and concession passengers each year, in addition to the 2.2 million student journeys each year. The Company has recently entered into contract with the NSW State Government which will further reinforce our commitment to meet high levels of standards across all of our operations.

BMBC normally recruits drivers twice annually, depending on operational requirements.
All driver recruiting is conducted by INTO Training Australia, a registered Training company that has trained all our drivers over the past few years. When recruiting new drivers, INTO training advertise in local papers and invite anyone interested in becoming a driver for BMBC to an Information Seminar where the position is explained and Training Modules are outlined along with medical requirements and Transport NSW requirements. All other positions are advertised by BMBC as required.
